If a promotion begins after you purchase, but before your order is shipped, you do not qualify for inclusion in the promotion.

6. Orders must be placed within specified promotion timeframes in order to qualify for promotional pricing or offers. Any additional conditions will be advertised (eg. One per customer).

Stock Availability

7. Stock availability may be affected by production delays, as all of our products are manufactured in house. This will be reflected in the stock availability on our website.

8. Except to the extent otherwise required by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), One Hammer Workshop will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of the unavailability of any Goods at any time.

14. Inherent with buying online is the inability to view the physical product before purchase. Except to the extent otherwise required by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law) One Hammer Workshop will not be liable for 'buyers regret'. Misunderstanding of, or dissatisfaction with our product is not grounds for return. It is the customer’s responsibility to make informed purchasing decisions, and proceeding through our checkout indicates you have duly informed yourself as to the product you are acquiring.

15. We do what we can to make sure that all colours are displayed accurately. However, you should be aware that colours may present differently on different displays and screens. Additionally, timber products with natural grain are prone to minor colour variation, and the exact shade of your product may vary from that displayed.

16. All efforts are made to keep product photos and descriptions up to date, however there may be the occasional discrepancy. All photos are indicative only and your product may differ slightly from what is shown.

Delivery

20. Delivery fees and times vary for different types of Goods and are calculated based on the size and weight of your order and its destination. Any Delivery Charge will appear in your shopping cart.

21. Risk in the products passes to you on commencement of delivery. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to the products after delivery.

22. We cannot deliver to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers because they're too small to accept the items we sell. Most of our goods are delivered by courier directly to your door. At this time we do not ship internationally.

23. In some remote locations (e.g. rural properties and addresses outside of large regional towns) delivery to the door is not possible and will require the recipient to collect the Goods at a local depot or alternate delivery location.

24. If you elect to not be in attendance when the Goods are delivered then the Goods may be left without receipt at the nominated address. In circumstances where you elect for a person to be in attendance to receive the Goods and a person is not in attendance at the address given during normal business hours when delivery is attempted, we may at our discretion:

a) Attempt subsequent delivery of the Goods, which may incur additional charges for each delivery until delivery is accomplished.

b) Deliver the Goods to an alternate delivery location for collection by the receiver. We will communicate any important details of the shipment and its’ delivery status to you as soon as reasonable.

If delivery has not been made after multiple attempts or the receiver refuses to accept delivery of the Goods, we will try to contact you and agree to the next appropriate action. You agree to pay any reasonable costs incurred in forwarding, storing, returning or disposing of the Goods

25. You must verify your information is correct before placing your Order, especially your delivery address. If the address provided is incorrect and the package is returned, you will be billed for the additional Delivery Charges in order for your delivery to reach you. You agree to this by placing an Order with us, we reserve the right to pass on applicable charges to you if you provide wrong address information. We also require a contact phone number, which may be used by our delivery partner to arrange delivery. If we and our delivery partner have been unable to deliver your order due to your error, we reserve the right to cancel your Order. In these circumstances we will refund you the price of your Order, less the Delivery Charges and other costs incurred by us.

Refunds & Returns

26. The Goods you purchase come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your product upon delivery is faulty, broken or otherwise non-compliant with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law please contact us as soon as possible with your name and order number and we will attempt to resolve your situation.

27. You must provide us with reasonable proof of purchase to obtain a refund, exchange or to repair a product that you have purchased from us. Proof of purchase includes:

28. All faults or defects should be reported to us within 7 days of the defect or fault appearing to avoid any further damage.

29. If Goods are delivered and the packaging or the item itself is clearly damaged, you should take photos or video showing the damage, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately. We'll share your feedback with our delivery partners and suppliers to ensure our service and the quality of packaging is improved.

30. If you notice that Goods are damaged after delivery, please take photos or video clearly showing the damage and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 business days of receiving your delivery.

31. The type of remedy we offer will depend upon the circumstances. We will work collaboratively with you to find an outcome that you're happy with. For example we may:

  • arrange a self repair (with an offer of compensation to you).

34. Returns will only be accepted if you contact us within 7 days of delivery, and if the product is still in as new, unused condition. Refund monies will only be paid once the product has been returned and it's condition verified. Damage to the product may result in a partial refund.

35. Except to the extent otherwise required by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), One Hammer Workshop will not be liable to you, or any other person, for any loss, damage, cost or expense suffered as a direct or indirect result of any delay in you receiving any refund due to you.
